Chief Adejinmi Anthony Ishola Adu was born on 10th September 1940 in Lagos, Nigeria, into a family of nine children. His father, Albert Adeosi Adu (Adu Elegba), and mother, Hawwa Wuraola Abeke, instilled in him the values of hard work, discipline, and community service.
Education & Career:
Adejinmi began his education at Holy Cross Catholic School and later attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School. He pursued a career in accountancy and worked with notable organizations such as Pan Am Air and Fawehinmi Furniture Factory. He also served briefly in the Nigerian Army before founding his own company, Aduco Nig. Ltd, where he excelled as an entrepreneur in construction, manufacturing, and real estate.
Family & Personal Life:
A devoted family man, Chief Adejinmi was married to three wives and was a loving father to his children, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom, guiding his family with love and integrity.
Community & Philanthropy:
Chief Adejinmi was a respected community leader and philanthropist. He held several chieftaincy titles and was actively involved in Rotary International, Ikeja Lions Club, and Ikeja Club. He sponsored education, empowered youths, and supported numerous community development projects.
Passing:
Chief Adejinmi Anthony Ishola Adu passed away peacefully on 23rd January 2025 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wives, 12 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who continue to uphold his legacy of love, service, and excellence.
